Absolutely amazing that Kathryn Bigelow was not nominated for Best Director for "Zero Dark Thirty," especially after she won the Oscar for "The Hurt Locker" a few years ago.

The Academy must be punishing her for taking some creative license or perhaps they are bowing to political pressure regarding the effect of torture in the film. Either way, this is a masterfully-directed film and it's absolutely shocking that she wasn't given a nod.

It's also ridiculous that Greig Fraser was not nominated for Best Cinematography for the film - his work is stunning.

Yeah, everyone turned their back on ZDT once it had even a whiff of right-wing attached to it.

But how about THE MASTER, huh?

Yes, I'm sure that Mr. Cruise and others had something to do with that.
